At 17, I held the position as an office manager at Bell Labs, the largest telecommunications company in the Chicagoland area at the time. Later on, I became an entrepreneur and built a successful cleaning business. Multi-tasking, attention to detail, leadership, and excellent customer service proved to come naturally for me at an early age.
My real estate career began in 2004 as an agent with Re/Max. As a new agent I was approached to list a gas station, rather than shy away from intimidation, I sought out the best assistance and rose to the challenge. Staying focused on residential sales, I successfully represented numerous buyers and sellers during a fast paced and demanding market with new construction, senior downsizing, sellers upgrading, first time buyers, listings, and relocating.
During this time, I learned that continuing education was invaluable and brings substantial value to everyone I service.
I hold 5 certificates of training and 2 designations, including the prestigious GRI (Graduate of REALTORS® Institute). REALTORS® with the GRI designation have in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, contract law, negotiations as well as the sales process. Less than 10% of the 50,000-member, Illinois Association of REALTORS® have achieved this highly acclaimed designation as of my graduation.
In addition to being a Certified Staging Consultant, who can assist sellers in staging their home for a quick sale, I'm a self-taught photographer of more than 4 decades. I'm highly skilled at taking and choosing only the best photos for the MLS. When it comes to the most crucial step in the listing process, I don't have to rely on a third party.
I joined Charles Rutenberg Realty in Naperville in 2006 so I could better serve my clients by having more control over my business. During this time, I earned a certificate of training in short sales. When distressed sales dominated the market, this allowed me the ability to help both buyers and sellers close on extremely difficult short sale transactions. In 2022 CRR's Sales exceeded $686,000,000 which places us among the leaders once again!
