The village of Oswego is located on the Fox River 12.5 miles west of Naperville.
This is a fast-growing community that’s a halfway point from Chicago to Sandwich which is a rural community located west of Oswego.
There is an abundance of shopping, dining, and a nice smaller downtown that’s along the river and close to a pretty park where new high-rise condos overlooking the river have recently been built.
The restoration of the historic downtown is really pretty. Families will also enjoy the beautiful Hudson Crossing Park which is along the river and home to new high rise condos.
You will have more of a country atmosphere in parts of Oswego and some river front properties although they don’t come up for sale very often.
